Carol Schram: Pettersson won't play, Boeser is questionable as Canucks & Dads visit Vegas The Vancouver Canucks could be looking long and hard for offense on Wednesday night as they kick off a quick two-game road trip against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Juolevi looks great so far in Utica - I watched him quite a bit when he played in London and he really was a great PP QB - he has that no look pass to the EP side down to a science. In Finland last year he didnt get a ton of opportunities to do that - but he obviously does now in Utica and he's looking more like the kid (and the reason) we drafted. Defense/size has improved and I think between him and Hughes we're gonna have a dangerous PP in the near future and some great puck moving D.

Agree I watched him closely at Mem.Cup here in Red Deer and he was an absolute Stud. Worthy of why we drafted him so high. Nice to hear he is coming into his own.

4-1 Vegas. Markstrom lets in the 1st shot, Canucks put in a really great effort for 17 minutes with 43 minutes looking like an AHL team.

lol I'll see your 43 and raise you ten minutes and say we are AHL quality for at the very least 53 min.

Marky pulled after 4

Fluery has been on fire, I agree. I could see a shutout tonight. Then the hens start wondering about secondary scoring.

You need firstdary scoring before you can have secondary scoring.

I get the point you're trying to make but the Canucks are bang on the league average for goals per game through 9 games

They are average but it’s not sustainable. Scoring has plummeted since EP has been out. Decent teams can afford an injury to a few top players. We lose one and we tank

We still scraped a couple of wins. I agree there's no way we keep up the amount we have had so far but with EP back soon it should stay respectable for longer.

A few lucky bounces and some decent reffing and they are totally a playoff team. Someone should throw a latte at you for being such a hater.

If Edler, Tanev, Bo, boeser and EP don’t miss another game we should be a lock to finish in the top 25 😍

Ya, sure.

We all know it's just going to take one match to set the inferno that will be the dumpster fire.
