Carol Schram: Tanev returns but Boeser is out as Canucks kick off road trip vs. Red Wings Chris Tanev returns to the lineup after missing five games with a bruised hip while Brock Boeser is sidelined for his third game this year with a groin issue as the Vancouver Canucks look for their fourth-straight win as they kick off a six-game road trip against the Detroit Red Wings.

I hope Rasmussen goes head to head against EP40 all night. Should be another fun one tonight. Hopefully the boys in blue come out on top.

Hopefully they sit Boeser for a few weeks, he needs to heel or that's going to lead to other injuries from other body parts compensating.

Well done Carol.

Normally we are a red carpet for any bottom-dwelling team (or we are the bottom-dwelling team lol) so maybe 4-3 Wings? OT?

With Glass Boeser out and Chris (break glass in the event of the world championships Tanev) back in surely the outcome is...

discuss?

But maybe the DET 'lose for hughes' campaign will provide a Canuck win?

This one is tough.

We should rest boeser until the new year and keep Elias out a few months for preventive reasons. Elias chances of a concussion are reduced by 65% if he doesn’t play contact sports. It’s science

Keep having him play through the injury and put him back on Horvat's line. He's going to be way cheaper to sign after that

I think we will need to have Dr. Leftcoaster MD, P.Eng, M.Eng, PMP corroborate this statement.

And this is why you should be GM, nobody will call you an idiot with this proactive approach...at least it is a plan, unlike Benning

dude, that's such an old school mentality. the smart/new school approach is to sign him to whatever gets the deal done and then waive him or buy him out if need be. it's science, stupid!
