It's "bae", and I hate that I know that.

So Garth where do the Sabres finish? Do they make the playoffs? Make the call? My call is. Housley has them playing very sound. Never getting caught. Limiting quality chances on a goalie that is playing really well. But a team that is Not good enough. At least yet to be fair. Dahlin is a gem and going to be great but is still a kid making kid mistakes. Do the sabres make the playoffs? A BIG maybe and if so "just". Which is a huge improvement over last year. Sabres playing a system an inferior team needs to in order to win. Which is to the teams credit. Especially the coach.But sabres need more time and pieces to become one of the NHL's elite.They definitely will be coming back to earth in time.

This is what I hate about Leafs fans, oh how you forget that you were just a poopity as the sabres just a few short years ago before Matthews. in 2016-2017 you were picked to be in the bottom again, but you made the playoffs. So now its the sabres team to do that and you poop on them.

Oh don't worry, the hate is very mutual. I guess, winning games were not suppose to, coming from behind multiple times to win games, and oh yeah a 10 game winning streak is just not enough evidence for Leafs fans yet.. We can revisit this at the end of December.

I get the whole back up thing but are we not suppose to take the wins? I am sure if I look up how many back ups the leafs played a few years ago it would be a lot and that because you were not suppose to be good.... I really can't wait until Tuesday, it will be a true test to see how we stack up to T.O

The difference this year with the sabres is mainly a few things. 1st goaltending is 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% better. 2nd, Defense is improved and especially breakout passing and passing in general is WAY better and 3rd is we can score.

Should be a great game Tuesday...

As a life long advocate of the Buffalo sports scene (Bills fan) it is good to see the Sabres competitive again. The fan base is great. I say the best in the USA.
As a Leaf fan who has seen their reemergence up close. It is one thing to win games in November or January. Its another thing to win when it counts in the spring.
Neither team can brag about winning Cups. Who cares who won more head to head or who has gone further. Its just silliness.

The Leafs appear to be further along on their rebuild. Although it is sad to watch a team so young and so unaccomplished, run into salary cap issues. The Sabres certainly look like they will be in the same boat in a year or two when their young stars will need to be paid.

To me, the Leafs still rely too much on Andersen winning games. They gave up 41 shots last night. I still worry about them having enough size and toughness to compete during the Stanley Cup playoffs. Who knows where it goes.

The Sabres recent winning streak should be celebrated but fans need to be realistic. Seven of the ten wins were OT or SO wins. All but one win was by one goal. They are 11 games over 500 but are only +11 in GF/GA. Hutton for as good as he has been, is still a cast off from St Louis. Sadly, they'll need to sign Skinner next season. Every goal he scores just put his price up higher

Not looking for your approval. The facts are I have been going to Bills games for the last 30 years. Dozens of Sabre and Bandits games too. I listen to WGR55 often.

The Sabres have been a mess for years now. Years of mismanagement. People laugh at the likes of you and Garth blindly buying the garbage ownership and management has been selling for years. Now they look like they are finally reemerging. Good for Sabres fans

It's Sabres. You don't go to a Sabre game. You'd think such a big fan would know, like, the teams name and stuff. Honestly, this made me laugh out loud. Thanks for that.

And Reinhart has 17pts in 25g, 11 in his last 12g, after a slow start. He may be the cap casualty, but as long as we don't handle it like the Leafs did Nylander, he'll bring a nice return and I'll be pleased.

I am already a DahlinFan. This is true.
