FIRST!!!

They did what they needed to do. Beat two bad teams at home.
Onward and upward.

Lets get 2/4 this weekend. Then we HAVE TO beat Florida.

Not that anyone cares, but I've been a very PRO-Reinhart guy since year 2. Just because he isn't FLASHY doesn't mean he isn't good.

I'm not gonna lie. I've started to like Larsson as a 4C. He plays the role well.

I'd like to see them get a W against Boston. It would put a bit more space between us in the standings. Plus after the way the 1st game of the season turned out, it would be a nice little nugget of redemption.

They played well last night, and it was a good effort for most of the team.

By the end of the season, Hutton will have a goal. That seems like a guarantee. I liked Jack's snicker in the post game interview when he was asked about it.

Hope Scandella comes back, not for his skill, but for his warm body on the ice to replace Tennyson...oh boy.

Will be at the Florida game on Tuesday, looking for a revenge game there.

Good luck for the weekend (2 out of 4 seems to be the consensus wish).

When all of Scandella, McCabe, and Hunwick are healthy, isn't it a certainty that Pilut goes back to Rochester?

I posted this in the last blog

if they want to win now, pilut should play over scandella when mccabe and scandella come back

problem is I don't hate beaulieu

maybe move dahlin to the right

mccabe-dahlin
pilut-risto
beaulieu-bogo

I can't see any other lineup where pilut gets a legit shot

I'd take an OT loss against the Caps if it meant a stomping of the Bruins.

Overall the general stats for him don't wow you. But a lot of the advanced stats point to him not only doing ok but doing all the things we could ever hope he could be.

I just don't know that keeping him here is something they can do logistically. The blueline is a crowded place in Buffalo these days (when injuries aren't a factor that is).

Hunwick seemingly on his way back really clouds the picture.

I 100% agree. It's just that when Scandella, Nelson and Hunwick come back Pilut has no other option then to go down to Rochester. Too many NHL bodies. Unless Botts has a trade in the pipeline ?

He is one of the 6 best defensemen on the team imo. They need to make room for him, whether that means a trade, waivers, etc.

I'd put him on waivers and not even think twice about it to be quite honest. I think you've already got plenty of guys that have worked well this season (including Pilut). Don't mess with success. Nice knowing you Hunwick, pack your bags and have fun in Rochacha....

Holtby is playing tonight and they are on the road so we do have the advantage in facing Copley and the fact that Washington has to fly home tonight as well. Whether or not that will make a difference I have no idea.

That only because he plays on Jacks wing

I kid,I have always liked Rhino, and that is mainly because I figured out really quickly that he is and always be just a 50-60 point guy with the ability to sprinkle in the odd 70 pt season and this may be the year he does that..

Hutton will score a goal this year, I was at the game yesterday and he had a great opportunity to do it. that will be awesome when it happens.
