I am okay either way.
I understand the want of more prospects and picks , but I also understand the teams thinking of winning.

I unlike most fans think Canucks are in a very good spot in all spots. I am perfectly fine with all 7 draft picks only every year.

Next year Hughes is a shoe in . Hutton is very young still and maturing. I think he will get better with age. So it is really one spot to fill on the left.

On the right Woo looks like a good pick . Much to everyone's hate I think Tryamkin will be back next year. I do like Guddy unlike most . I think Tanevs game is getting better now that he is chipping in on scoring.

Markstrom has been solid most of the year.

I think most of the problems from the past are getting better.

It is good to see the team competing, I will say as of today I’m pleasantly surprised. I have always stated that I would wait for the new year before evaluating the talent, coach and GM. Well almost new year and I think this team is better Thani have thought they would be.

I think Edler will be extended, with Joulevi out long term it has changed the landscape, and I’m not sure how many will be upset but it won’t be 3x3.

Sutter I can see being moved a TDL, I think a first is overpriced but go for the best deal possible.

And just to be controversial.....Gudbranson is a good defender and glad he is on the team.

I am sure there are some that think everything on here is the opposite of reality but I agree 100% with everything you wrote here.

Something none of us has mentioned is the success of the Comet. They have had a very good month now that they are back to healthy and the regular players with less call ups.

A good farm team hopefully means a good parent club

Thanks Carol! Great stuff as always, Jets is a tough matchup for us which you've highlighted well. I expect a loss but hopefully similar effort as the TB game

Josh Morrisey and Ben Hutton, talk about polar opposites on the hot stove!

Should be a nice hat-tip to Edler tonight, he's earned it.

He has his moments where he plays well, seems a little steadier this year. I don't know about good, but he's better this year.

I like Gudbranson. Think he's good for the team. But with sportsnet article the other day about teams needing a solution for Tom Wilson in the playoffs, makes me think Gudbranson could actually get a solid return at the deadline from a team in the east.

I'd rather they played Winnipeg and lost again in a close game than beat another weaker team like Arizona, St. Louis, Philly, Edmonton or LA.

Keep learning what it takes to compete with the better teams.

Nice to see some positivity from Canucks fan base.

Is it the holiday spirit?
Is it the unexpected winning streak?
Is it all because of Pettersson's dynamic play?

who knows.

But welcome aboard team pom pom ya'll.

Sounds like someone is coming around.
if North Nuck shows some love for Guddy, i'd say it was a Xmas miracle.
