One play that I really loved from last night's win was McCabe's hit on Dubois in the 3rd period. Dubois was an absolute beast for most of the night and took a few runs at Eichel. Right before the McCabe hit, Dubois and Eichel were going at it. It was nice to see McCabe step up and bury Dubois. I think that really settled things down for the Sabres. An unsung play that can't really be measured in metrics, but had an impact no doubt. |

I would love to understand why Dahlin plays less then 18 minutes in a game and less then 30 seconds on the pp in a 1 goal game on the road that we need to win to make the playoffs
I know Phil would have pouted if this happened in the early 80's and he had a fraction of the talent that Dahlin has |

I can understand why they want to give Hunwick a shot. I mean they did trade for him and he was somewhat useful for Pitt (i think).
Playing veterans over rookies is an age old frustration in hockey. Dahlin is an exception to the rule |
