Didn't everything go sideways with injuries last year and the year before?

I can only hope that Aquilini gives Benning his walking papers shortly after the draft, so Vancouver can avoid another mess at free agency. Benning's time here has provided some great young pieces, but some horrible, mind-numbing FA signings.

Benning is gone this year, whether before or after the draft, I'm unsure. Hopefully before. I don't post much but I do read this thread. Not much for rumours either but this one seems pretty solid. Last rumour I got was when Luongo was traded to Vancouver. Friends called me an idiot.

Who will replace him? Yzerman? I hear he is quite happy spending time in Florida with his family, but has roots in BC. Chris Pronger? He's been a GM in training with Florida. Laurence Gilman? Great cap guy but tied up in Toronto, plus may not want to come back to Van.

Canucks are rudderless.
