The Canucks are now 3-0-0 since Quinn Hughes' debut. Is Team Tank going to turn on him if they run the table this week? - Carol Schram
Oh Carol, the fact they are 3-0 since Quinn joined the roster is coincidental. As a staunch member of team tank nobody would blame Quinn for winning games. Quite the opposite.
Quinn is the exact type of player team tank wants; a difference maker. A sure fire way of getting players like him is selecting very early in the draft. Do that for a few seasons and your roster is full of Quinns.

The Miami Dolphins have 58 players under contract with 7 draft picks in the upcoming draft. They'll be signing as many as 25 undrafted free agents to fill up the 90 man pre-season roster.
Now that folks, is tanking. |

I warned you about Tannehill being a bust |

I like how the team is looking and I like wins...but we’re in danger of passing a couple teams and I don’t think we should haha |

Edler has only recieved the best defenseman award twice and Bo, who has been the Canucks best and most consistent player all-season, doesn't get any award at all.
This is why you don't let idiot fans vote for awards. |

I keep hearing rumours that Edler is set on getting a 3 year contract and expansion protection.
Let him walk. |

This team is building momentum heading into next season. These games are key for development of young players and building confidence.
They'll get a good player either way, whether it's with 7th overall or 12th overall. |

He's not the answer but the team failed him as well.
I'm just happy they're going to build through the trenches. I wouldn't be surprised if they brought in 3+ UDFA QB's. |

I want the high pick but there's no replacement for kids learning to win.
Demko is really looking promising. I'm impressed. Just another good story coming out of the draft for the Canucks. Canucks crushed it in the youth department this season.

I don't think they have much of a choice outside of drafting a QB, I read that they went after pretty much most of the "top" FA QB's and all of them turned down Miami. Bridgewater and Taylor took backup jobs behind pro bowl QB's instead
If I were Miami, I'd look into the cost to trade for Rosen, otherwise just stay patient and accept the miserable season that's on the way.
I was reading an article about how the Pats approach the draft. Trading down for more picks is a great strategy in the NFL + they really attack any roster weaknesses they have by drafting multiple quality prospects at that weak position just to have competition and not rely too much on a single rookie at that weak position to pan out.
I think more teams desperate for QB's should do what the Skins did when they drafted RG3/Cousins. |

I don't think they'll draft a QB this year, not in the 1st round anyways.
The only QB they interviewed that I had interest in was Bridgewater. My ideal scenario has them drafting Lawrence in 2021. |

Yeah, outside of Murray, none of the QB's in this class really excite me. I'd have Rosen as a top 10 pick in this draft class though. |

One of the most overlooked facets of the NFL draft is how you deal with your own free agents. NE has 12 picks this year because they let guys go, and don't sign many high profile FA's. For instance, the Dolphins will get a 3rd pick 2020 for allowing James to leave. So you draft a player and replace one you're going to lose in 3 years. |

Murray excites me like RG3 did. I think Lock might be the best in the class, but i haven't seen enough tape on him. |

Also, I wouldn't give up that kind of pick for Rosen. I think the Giants might with #17 though. |

I hate Benning.
The Canucks had all the leverage in the world as Edler seems insistent that Vancouver is the only city he wants to play him. F*cking Benning is such a pillow-soft pushover. |
