Interesting that Colorado will now have to protect Makar, I suspect that will put them in a position where they have to negotiate something with Seattle as they have too many Dmen to protect now.

The upshot for them is they have a pretty decent number of good young players, I suspect whatever they have to give up won't hurt them too much.
