That reffing was brutal. I'd be pretty sour to lose that game after that reffing.
And
Thanks Carol |

Thanks Carol! I wouldn’t take Podkolzin at ten. I probably wouldn’t even take him at 40. Most overrated prospect of this draft. |

One of the biggest things i've noticed from this tournament alone is the offensive creativity from USA is far superior to Canada's. Granted Canada has much better all around players but the difference between Zegras, Hughes, Boldy compared to Newhook, Krebs and Tracey in terms of what can be done in the offensive zone was night and day. |

I haven’t watched a game, nor do I plan too, not much of a prospect research guy, so enjoy your input |

Totally. 5 consecutive penalties against Canada. 2/3 of the ones I saw in the third were complete horsepoop phantom calls. Guess the two best teams (by a wide margin) will be playing for bronze. |

I haven't got to watch the US-USSR game from earlier yet but a single game knock out, that kind of thing can happen(russia winning).

Tough for Miro but probably not a big loss as it is basically a lock for EP anyways.
Maybe Miro should be in over Binnington but it's pretty hard to compare goalie vs D straight up and Dahlin would likely be the D pick over Miro anyways. |

the 26 year old goaltender is too old.
Heiskanen's season, and even tkachuk are more impressive and deserving of the votes. |

100%. The goalie shouldn’t even be eligible based on age and games played |

The Russian Goalie was hot. PK after PK he was a wall. They couldnt get him to commit and the Americans ran out of space over and over as he made them eventually blink first.
He'll be a high pick for a goalie in the /20 draft.

@Don
I fully agree about long term Karlsson. I really think it is unrealistic and I hope Benning does not go there.
I think Canucks have five decent prospects Woo Briesbois Sautner Rafferty and OJ . I relly want to see them go after a guy like Miller to replace Tanev . I also do think Edler will come back. I want to see them make a move for a guy like Trouba Barrie or a young RHD to develop with the young guys. I am willing to use the 2020 first round pickand Jake or OJ if needed. |

Out of curiosity, did you think Mcdavid should have won the calder? |

Carol, no mention of the junior A playoffs, I know its a lesser league than the dub but its catching up, the league has gotten better the last few years. PG is on a 14 game winning streak, 17 and 1 so far, brooks bandits never lost 1 game at home this year until last night. |

That is why I said the other day I would not be interested in the Canadian forwards and draft a Dman instead.
USA have about 5-6 high end forwards Byram Kakka and then I go for the D ahead of the Canadian forwards. |

Agree with everything except the 2020 pick. The draft is simply to strong to risk a lottery pick |

I think the range should be 23 or some combination of being 23 at some point during the season.
Dude is the same age as Jeff skinner who has been in the league for 9 years
Didn't some guy for Calgary win the calder at like 33 years old? Parameters for who is considered a rookie need to be changed. |
