I suspect the Canes go down easy.

Although it would be fun to see McAvoy get 3 or 4 games for that headshot, and Marchand try something and get booted, and the Canes move on.

Not sure what the season series was vs the WhalerCanes, but the Bruins had issues with Carolina at times this year.

At least we get an extra nights rest waiting for the West to wrap up (thanks Colorado)

He'll sit a game I think. Did he mean to crush him while his head was down, absolutely, but i don't think he went for the head intentionally. Doesnt mean hes innocent.

However, earlier in the series (game 4?) Backes caught a bionic elbow to the chin and the aggressor only got a 2 minutes minor with no supplemental. so we'll see how this plays out.

Canes (1-1-1) and Bruins (2-1-0)

Each team scored 10 total goals in the 3 games they played against each other.

It was very close in the season, with the B's getting one more point for an OT win.

Seems that the whole hockey universe is against our beloved Bruins.
