I also for one never thought ROR was overpaid or overrated. he is who he is. A perfect #2 center... I agreed with the trade then and still do, he wanted to go and we needed to trade him. We just never replaced him.

Actually looked like things were falling into place nicely early in the season with the Sabres on a run and the Blues doing the opposite thus providing a nice draft position to that 1st pick.

I guess it just goes to show you how quickly things can change without any drastic roster moves (Blues going from last to the Cup)...all we can do now is hope the new coach is that spark this team needs.
