Get a life and go out more.

As you said, July 1st is Stupid Season. No reason to sign another Okposo. We don't have much trade assets...

So I won't be surprised if it's minimal moves. Everyone will hate this, but we will be better next season, even with the same roster. With no real assets to move for help now and so many teams throwing out stupid contracts, I'm not sure hyperactivity is our best move at present.

Try to get a 2-3C or top4 defender through trade or FA. Send Girgs and Sobotka back from whence they came. Call up Olo and Nylander. We're better than last season. Don't hold your breath for playoffs, you'll suffocate.

On the plus side, if no major moves are made we will really see how the coaching change impacts this group.

I think it's pretty widely accepted he needed more time in juniors or even overseas. Jumping straight to the AHL was a misstep. Middelstadt skipped the AHL, so similar situations.
