I think Quinn is the perfect coach, someone was worried I guess bc he’s American and a lot of these guys are European. I wouldn’t put the 2 rookies with Howden, way to green of a line. This might seem crazy but would give us 3 scoring lines:
Buch Zib Kakko
Panarin Strome Kreider
Kravtsov Andersson Chytil
Lemieux Howden Fast |

Its only July 3rd ----- do we really want to fill out lineup cards already? So much of the roster may change in the next month, we may want to hold off on who our 2nd line center will be.
Summers just getting started!

I've never been a big line combo guy either
training camp is going to determine all of that
Panarin is going to be paired with Zibanejad and then everything else will be figured out in September

I honestly couldn’t watch many games last year due to work. Was Lias that bad? |

He was kind of lost out there sometimes. Despite his hot start, metrics say Howden was actually worse than Lias. |

I think Howden shouldve seen some time in Hartford to try and get some scoring touch back last year. Guy couldnt buy a goal |

As soon as his streak ended, you could just see the confidence eroding in him. It was pretty disheartening to watch. |

Cap issues ..take your time ,use the alloted time allowed to make the moves
to get us the best 13 wings 6-8 D &2 goalies for sept. camp & season
The 2 C slot is the only one not filled , you cannot wish it filled with kids who need to build not get thrown in the deep water , way to demanding a slot to fill for us ,after Mika there is a big drop off .If we had an experienced 2c with talent it takes pressure off Mika ,If he goes down for any reason we could be screwed .
Cast of characters : Krieds Georgiev Shatty Smith Names Strome
+ D prospects Lindgren? Keane ? or other prospects just drafted
+ draftpicks ,we got sum of them
To get under cap ,not a problem,to get a trade for a top center ? I D K
calgary has been mentioned with krieds + need a goalie ,take it from there
S J : wishful thinking
Boston ?
not much has been heard on Krieds other than the few mentioned, any other options seen as possibles
Brassard is my fall back guy to be the 2 c if we cant pull off a trade

Looked lost out there at times, didn’t really stand out. Didn’t see any “flashes” that made you say wow, barely noticed him on his shifts. With that being said, he hates to lose and has a lot of pride in himself. My guess is he’s working his ass off this offseason and we’ll see a different Lias next year. |

all your eggs are in the panarin/trouba basket. 20 mil.
For a top line winger and a top 4 D.
Good luck |

Actually just poked over the Flyers page...why are you guys so obsessed with comparing yourselves to our team. Don't you have your own issues to deal with? |

Rather have that than 16 million for a tweener 2/3C and 2 declining D. You're right though, this has to work out. |

I've learned in life when people keep mentioning you, they are often jealous or fearful. It's crazy how over there anyone who has said anything remotely negative is like jumped on. Even the writer is jumping in. The flyers team now looks so much like the 17-18 version of us it's frightening. Of course the Flyers didn't have the several seasons of contention like we had. I honestly don't know wth Fletcher is doing. It'l like they figured out Hextall wasn't working, and instituted the bizarro version of him. |

Even if you hate the rangers there is no way you can say this rebuild and offseason in particular has not gone almost perfectly to plan. Fans have a hard time giving teams they hate credit |

Yea I mean I don't troll, its whatever. Just odd. The Flyers team has been through some turmoil over the last few years as their rebuild under Hekstall didn't go as they wanted. Figured they would be more worried about fixing that than what our rebuilding team is looking like. But yea its all in good fun. |

The rangers accomplished in one year what the flyers have been trying to do for the last 8
I bet you our second overall pick will score more goals than your second overall pick |

Same can be said about Kravs, Fox, Chytil, Hajek, Howden and Andersson.
Wait...having all those guys on ELCs allows you to lock up two stud guys in their prime!? No wayyyyy
Funny that people aren’t lumping Hank in that group too. |
