You're not wrong. I actually thought the turning point against the Avs came in game 2 when someone on the Avs absolutely rocked Gio. The Avs got a huge lift from that and Calgary didn't up their intensity. You can count on one hand the number of Flames who showed up for that series. It's hard to blame captain Gio for anything because he's been so good but man did the Flames come out flat last post season. And I seem to remember our all world D, giving up 50ish shots in a couple of the games.
