Kronwall can go frank himself - I hope his knees and back have no cartilage left and he’s just grinding bone-on-bone and in agony for the rest of his days. |

That’s actually one of his least egregious dirty hits because he barely left his feet... as opposed to some of his other “gems” where he launches up into the head of the player.
And he never, ever answered for any of them - always turtled like a little female dog. |

Back in my day those were all outstanding hits. Instead of starting a fight we'd tell the victim to keep his (frank)ing head up. And if it was a sucker pass that guy would get some poop too.
But it's also true that we had heavier softer equiptment, the average skater is way faster today, and we had to play with the center line so the play was slower. All of which were less lethal back in the day. It's much more difficult to play D these days.

Momentum caused him to leave his feet on a lot of his hits, although, there are a few that were questionable. Kronwall was a pretty clean player, overall. Keep your (frank)ing head up.

Please, he’s a head hunter who never answered for any of his B.S. He was a tough guy when he spotted a guy with his head down - but always turtled when someone wanted to see just how tough he really was.
He’s a player only a Wings fan could enjoy. |

Listen here, girlfriend. Kronner is a saint. Did he have a couple of bad hits? Maybe. Did he deliver punishing hits mostly on people who were too stupid to keep their heads up? Maybe. Was it his fault they were playing like a OHL player? Nope.
I do defend him and in all seriousness agree that he pushed the line, but I firmly believe players need to keep their wits about them. I did the same thing when I played to others who watched the puck and not the play. |

I think it’s against Swedish law for their hockey players to fight in the NHL. If they do they become Norwegian or something. |

Red Wings now need a physical defenseman who gets caved in in his own end.
Can I interest you in a slightly used Jack Johnson? |

I get it. If he spent a career in a Blackhawks uniform I’d definitely have the same perspective. And yes, Havlat did have his head down - and bad things happen in hockey when you do that.
But, he wore a Redwings jersey - so by default he is a headhunting douche.
I hope his knees hurt so bad that he has to crawl to the bathroom in the middle of the night just to take a piss. |
