Sam Hitchcock: Cirelli’s Potential Fit with Stamkos

Eh..... I really like Cirelli... but I just dig him more as our 3c for center depth.

I have no doubt he could hang with Stammer and, say, Gourde (or Joseph) but I'm not sold on putting, say, Johnson back to center.

All that said, if Tony does get a promotion to 1B line.... who plays the 3c spot?

Cirelli is a great third line C who can play up and down the lineup. He just can’t be your number one C full time
