Bob Duff: Five of Last six First Rounders To Star Season In AHL By assigning D Moritz Seider and C Michael Rasmussen to AHL Grand Rapids on Sunday, the Detroit Red Wings have now sent five of their last six first-round draft picks to the minor leagues.

Watched the Griffins score 8 goals on Saturday... Ridiculous. And against arguably the best team in their conference. This is one of the deepest teams in GR I've seen. Going to be a fun season to watch the games. Won't surprise to me to see a call-up or two depending on injuries in Detroit.
