Safe to assume that that the lineup you see today is the lineup to start the season.

Yeah. I expect the plan is probably to sign Stewart and have him as the 13th forward eating popcorn in the Cote suite. I'd sign him just to help in the GD shootout.

Have to think that if Frost gets healthy and produces in the A that he will get a call up at some point.

I do not care about the results of this game. I hope guys get a good sweat and there are no injuries. The real storm time is on Friday :-) Boy, I hope they blow the Hawks off the ice :-)

Depends on how soon Pitlick is ready. They don't need to sign Stewart until they need him.

Yes. I think more than anything this team needs to start the season well. If we get off to one of our customary 1-7-2 starts, the pressure is going to be insane.

Sanheim with Provorov and Niskanen with Hagg, Myers and Morin together.
I thought the general thought pattern was
Provorov/ Niskanen
Sanheim/ Myers
Ghost/ Braun

with Morin and Hagg scratched.

I still don't think Braun was needed, and hate seeing one of the younger guys sitting. Hagg has been pretty good as a third pairing dman, and feel he is a nice piece to have in that 5-6 role.

Winnipeg needs dmen, and Ehlers is said to be available. Could be a fit for both sides there.

What is the reasoning for practicing with the other pairs the day before the game and then the sudden switch? Both Fletcher and AV have stated there will be a bit of movement in the first few weeks of the season so I'm not going to read too much into the first few games.

Flyers better be ready for this game. You can bet the Swiss guys are going to be treating it like a real game.
