A good read, only a couple of minor typos this time...none the less they should have been caught.
I don't think this edition of the Pens is the best offensive team in the league as you proclaimed, there are several better.
Bolts
Leafs
Flames
Avs
Panthers
...To name a few
The X factor for the Sabres this season is certainly Krueger. Many pronosticators have the Sabres pegged for 82sh points based on the past experience of the players on the roster. The projections don't included the effect of Coaches as it is difficult to measure their impact on the game points wise. Just a general they should be better , but no WOR estimate.
Ralph could be worth several wins based on the type of leader he is, the way he is able to get buy-in from players, and overhauling the system used. They estimate that elite forwards are worth 3 WOR. Could Ralph be worth ... 5, 7, 10?
That system he used coupled with buy-in from players on Thurday night was rather impressive. |

Typos don't bother me. Thanks for the article Garth. I have no idea why people are so triggered by you. Keep'em coming bud. |

Garth's ok. His player evaluation for the sabres players compared to other teams is so bonkers it's hard to take him seriously sometimes, but his opinions on the team are fun to read. |

He's fine. I don't understand why people need to be jerks. There seems to be an innate human need to be pointlessly cruel. Especially when you can do it anonymously on the internet. I like Garth. This site would be not be the same without him. |

Garth just obsesses over Sabres players and prospects and as a result, badly over rates them. |

Maybe. He was badly over rated for his “success” in Edmonton. He seems like a good person tho and for that I hope he does well with 2nd chance....unlike Eakins who I hope poops the bed in Anaheim.
