Carol Schram: Alex Burrows' energy ignites Canucks one more time in win over Senators The Vancouver Canucks rode Alex Burrows' induction into the Ring of Honour to a four-goal first period on their way to a 5-2 win over the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday. Antoine Roussel led the way with a goal in his first game of the year, while Zack MacEwen scored his first NHL goal and Oscar Fantenberg picked up his first as a Canuck.

Miller could be traded for 2 firsts. It was never an overpayment. Tampa (frank)ed up. They should have moved one of their smurfs

Tampa says they really didnt want to give up Miller. JB says there were other teams involved and in the end, Canucks still gave up less than the asking price.
