Mike Bales should win an award for simply shoring up Ullmarks weak glove, weakness with giving up rebounds etc. What this stat tells me is the defense usually does a good job of boxing out players and forcing shots from the outside and the defense also clears the rebounds. BUT when they don't and Ullmark is left naked he can't cut it. For those who have fallen in love with Ullmark sorry he just doesn't have "it".

This guy was literally unbeatable in NHL96 game sims... Buffalo having anything other than world class goaltending is therefore a farce.

I like it. But SM and JG have not worked now since all star break. Give them some time apart.

Besides that the only change I would make is Lomberg for Reider. Would like to see that 4th be a little more hellish to play against.

Or a line consisting Mangiapane, Ryan, Lucic. The line could be called Beef on Ry bread.

Loved these lines, really got going in the 2nd and 3rd, team played great.

Lucic has really looked good the past three games, he seems to be well liked in the dressing room, he has shown up for teammates and contributed. Neal never did a thing last year then pout and whine like a french frog like hunkulese.

So interesting to watch both Edmonton and Calgary fans. Edmonton got a heartless player that can pot goals. They needed goals and happier than poop. Calgary got a bottom 6 enforcer with heart. Calgary n eded truculence and leadership and are happier than poop. Obviously would have been nice to have Neal produce in Calgary but he did not and wanted out.

You do not realize how useful a guy like Looch is till you do not have one. 5 mil is horrible but so is a guy who decides he does not want to be on the team.

My boy Clyde has been busy servicing all the Oiler wives. When he is not balls deep in McDraidles sister he writes a weekly blog about crocheting table cloths, the blog is huge hit with the retired polish prairie woman's guild.

Solid effort with the exception of the last 4 minutes. Hanafin loose play and penalty gave the Sabres life. And Janko made a couple of bad turnovers as well. Liked some of the chemistry with the new lines and good so see Lucic finally get one...well deserved with the way he's played lately.
