Absolutely, every team should be trying to get better every year. Signing MDZ was, in essence, getting better, but I wouldn’t call that, or Vrbata all in.

Sorry but my interpretation of going "all in" is not trading a single 1st round pick and a 3rd round pick in a different draft. Not even remotely close to going all in.

Some GM said that if your 2nd and 3rd round picks are panning out, it makes it much easier to trade away a 1st round pick.

Has Zac played well enough this year on his opportunities that you can't take him out of the lineup? He has been pretty invisible IMO .

Fantenberg took advantage of his chances and won a spot. Zac has done very little

Yeah, I don't get it. Kid puts on a snipe show in Utica and doesn't get a look when there's an opening. Gaudette need to spend time with the shooter tutor. He can't hit the net to save his life right now.
