Thank goodness. They wasted way too much time trying to develop him simply because he was a former 1st-round pick that they were afraid of admitting was a bust. I'm still amazed that they chose him over McNabb.

I'm a bit surprised that it was him traded today and not Lewis. Maybe Lewis just made too much for many teams to fit him under the cap. I doubt that it was his age or limited ability, since Nate Thompson (at half Lewis' cap hit) was wanted by someone.

Doubt $ was the issue with Lewis. If it was an issue Blake would have just retained salary to get the pick.
