It's crazy times but like every crisis we will soon be looking back and 96%+ of us will be completely fine. Not trying to minimize this but people seem to be really freaking out.

I think any more hockey this year is a longshot.

Play and broadcast the scheduled games on NHL 20.

yes because we're taking measures to minimize this crisis, if we would let it go along say like Italy , you might be having medical encampments at your local park ,set up with military triage ....

As one guy put it, the mortality rate among people aged 80+ is about 10% right now.

So it seems like an overeaction, but if we had an epidemic where people were breaking into nursing homes and murdering 1 out of every 10 patients you're damn right we'd be trying to stop it.

Serious question - how are player contracts written? Do they expire on a specific date or are they written as a relative date to the end of the season?

My big problem is that I've got about 16 rolls of tp left. Sometime in the next week or two I'm gonna need to get some more. Do I bring the bear mace or will the panic buying have subsided by then?

The sane rational people will all have resort to paper towels and baby wipes. Too bad it's still technically winter, so most of us can't even resort to collecting the foliage out in our yards.

I believe that, for business purposes, the "new" NHL season starts July 1st. Contracts expire June 30th.
