I'm still an advocate of giving Nedeljkovic a shot at the starting role. I don't know that Mrazek fits well in a backup role. Reimer might make a better tandem with Nedeljkovic.

I still have hopes for Nedeljkovic as well but after watching him in the call-up, he's not ready yet IMO. If it comes down to Mrazek/Reimer or Nedeljkovic/Reimer, I'd still go with Mrazek for sure. But I agree he may not be an ideal backup and if the Canes actually went out and got a starter, it might be a better idea to keep Reimer.

I am at the point with Nedeljkovic that I really want to see what we have with him. He doesn't have much more to prove at the minor league level. He has been an all-star. He has won the championship. Some goalies need an extended look at the NHL level to prove themselves. The couple of starts he has had is not enough of a look. I would love to see him start 12 of the first 15 games next season to see what we have. If they don't have enough confidence in him to ever give him a real shot then trade him.

I'm not sure Ned is back next season.

One of Mrazek or Reimer is probably gone as well.
