The only problem with a buyout is that if they're moving him to clear cap space for next season, where they'll be adding some big contracts, $2.1M of the $3M will still be on the books, plus they'll have to replace him with the remaining space.
I think they'd only move him if they needed the space for next year, otherwise they'll just wait it out. |
