He's a wildcard for me. I really don't know what he is right now in terms of being an NHL player, but there is still potential. Maybe he should've made the jump to North America sooner (I'm saying this assuming that he's going to do it now) to properly develop.

That's the consensus I've seen by others as well.
People really don't know what he will be - if anything - in the NHL.
I for one, would welcome him this year because if he doesn't make the jump soon, he never will.
The Hawks will have spots open for him to make the team. Maybe him watching Kubalik's success in CHI will convince him.
