Carol Schram: NHL restart & draft ideas plus Jacob Markstrom, Bo Horvat and Pavel Bure
The hockey content is coming fast and furious as the NHL tries to find a way to get back to playing games. Jacob Markstrom checked in with the local media from his home in Sweden, Bo Hovat's doing an appearance on Thursday on Sportsnet, and even Pavel Bure popped up on a podcast!
Watched the Chicago game last night. Canucks were the far better team. Chicago's top stars had a few chances as you'd expect, but with the exception of a couple of misplays that resulted in goals against the flow of play, Vancouver's defence was very, very good.

They lost so much depth from the 2010 Cup and David Bolland was out injured, Canucks were the much better team in games 1 and 2. Surprised again to see how good Jannick Hansen was. Huge difference maker!! I think Torres is back for game three and he pounds Seabisket behind the net

Hansen was a really elite 3rd line player. The kind that makes enough of a difference to win you a playoff series. Not from his own scoring but from the constant pressure he put on the opposition.
Don't know why AV didn't play him with Kesler. Raymond and Kelser together clearly did not work well. Raymond couldn't shoot or execute a tape-to-tape pass and you could see Kesler never wanted to give him the puck.
That 2011 Canucks team was fast compared to the rest of the league.

I've got to listen to more Blue Oyster Cult - A_SteamingLombardi
I agree. I forget about them with all the music out there. That was posted two days ago and is one of the better isolation compilations to date. Roeser's guitar work is nuts.
