One thing is for certain, nobody is pushing the Bolts around this time.

And when we play Washington, we should run at Wilson and goad him into fights at every turn. I would gladly trade Schenn or Maroon for Wilson in the box for 5 mins at a time. Just make sure Wilson (and whoever else gets buck) spends most of the game ducking punches and sitting in the penalty box. Who cares who "wins" the fight? Every time we trade a Schenn/Maroon for Wilson, the Bolts win regardless of whoever's face gets beat in.

Journal, Day 28 :

The plague has killed all of my fellow Tampa fans. The colony of Maple Leafs fans to the north seems less impacted by this virus. Are they smarter, luckier, healthier, or all three? After wandering the humidity-choked, empty streets of Tampa, I have decided to begin the trek north - to the forum of the Leafs.

If any other Tampa fan survived and reads this, please head to the Leafs forum and not Terminus.

I haven't studied film or anything close, but Paquette seems to be a bit faster than this article makes him out to be. I recall some excellent backchecking moments from due to his hustle while on the ice. I can't say the same for Maroon. Not that he isn't trying, but he is pretty slow. I hope he pays off in the playoffs but I don't he did all that much during the regular season. Paquette, to my eyes, was much more effective.

Agree. Nobody will ever confuse Paquette with McDavid, but he gets around OK. I wouldn't call him a pylon by any means. Maroon is slow, but still has some utility around the net and providing toughness. Anybody who stands up to Chara and never backs down from a fight gets kudos from me, but I do wish he could contribute more in other ways.

Paquette can skate but he is a grinder and gets under the skin of the other team.

I am looking forward to Barclay Goodnow in the playoffs and I think he is way underrated. He can skate, great PKer, uses his size and lastly is chippy and won't back down. I think he was a great addition for the bottom six and can make a difference this playoffs... he can also put the puck in the back of the net when needed.

Agree. I also look forward to seeing what Coleman and Goodrow can really do. The sample size before the stoppage was too small to draw conclusions.
