If they lose we have a very nice shot at a nice consolation prize. Kind of indifferent to this season in all honesty if it actually happens so I was one of the people that voted for the shot at first overall. The percentage doesn’t really matter to me just as good a chance as anyone else. This franchise is due for some luck.

He's subject to 1 year ELC until 27 yrs. Rules are a bit different for defected players. Apparently, the Isles keep his rights indefinitely, and any deal to play in the NHL has to come thru the Isles.
