Lafreniere sweepstakes is a disaster no matter what way you cut it
Nothing logical suggests the 12th worst team in the league should even have a chance at #1 overall let alone any team that was playoff bound or on the bubble prior to shutting the league down
Its embarassing, NHL couldnt have drawn it up any better  |

NOT directed to you, rather the general attitude that is seen on here.
Seems nearly every idea put forth to secure a decent 2C are rejected for players such as Kadri, Monahan, Strome, Trocheck, Namestnikov as not good enough, and then killing thoughts around Cirelli, RNH, Hertl and others as impossible, and finally criticizing suggestions for solid vets with a year or two left such as Koivu, Staal, Getzlaf who could teach a young center quite a bit...let alone help lead a bunch of proven mentally frail floaters. All the while the likes of Larsson, Kempe, Bonino, Haula, Kerfoot are suggested as temporary fill-ins.
You People.
