Good, solid reasoning. I just wish GMs would exploit this option more often... |

No this is a waste of an offersheet. The Sabres need a #2 Center period. They lack Center depth and can use the same offer sheet on Dylan Strome can get him cheaply vs needing to trade for Strome. Dylan Strome fixes your need for a #2 center. Its easier to get a winger than a Center. |

Mike while I don't agree with most of your political takes, I am really excited to have you back blogging for the Sabres!
Keep up the nice work! |

We should just trade for him |

Why would we want another Nylander. Isn't he known to be soft like his brother? |

He's really hard to get off the puck he's the opposite of his brother |

He's still lurking around the corner, with a corny pun and erotically charged blog aimed at young, athletic men; you aren't out of the woods yet. |

Very nice to have you back.
The OS is a great strategy to pick up a promising player while making the Leafs squirm. The truth is the Sabre’s need a talent upgrade throughout the lineup, not just a 2 C. |

Was reading the Toronto blog when they were eliminated. It seems that there was a lot of fans unhappy with him.
Were saying he was completely unnoticeable. And was playing a perimeter game. |

nylander had 4 points in 5 games
nylander, matthews, tavares and marner combined had 17 points a game
leafs problem was lack of secondary scoring, again
