What is the reason for not liking Nino being scratched? We need a scoring threat and right now he is the opposite of that. He is Jordan Staal bad on offense (offsides on himself still makes me chuckle). Dzingel at least looks like he cares out there and will be a decent threat if he can get some line mates.
Skjei, Edmundson and Gardiner, its like picking the lesser of 3 evils out there right now. If Edmundson comes back game 3, go with him with Vatanen. Its hard enough trying to play defense then add in having to be perfect when paired with Skjei.
Game 3 lets roll:
Slavin-Hamilton
Vatanen-Fleury
Edmundson-TVR
Maybe putting Vatanen back on the left side will calm him down. Not having to cover for Skjei will help.

The ref waved it off immediately. TT's elbow got knocked into the side of Rask's head. I thought it had zero chance of being overturned and thought that the challenge was a foolish 2 minute penalty to take given how strong Boston's power play looked. Rod's challenge the night before was justified. This one, not so much. |

If he is unhealthy in the least little bit, I would not put it past Waddell to have him held out of the lineup. We have plenty of defensive depth and Waddell likes to hoard the draft picks. |
