Doesn’t sound to me like a Lias situation. I’m good with it. He hasn’t played since March, the season is likely going to start in Dec/Jan, that’s almost an entire year of no competition for him. I think it’s actually a positive that he wants to continue to play and develop rather than just sitting around doing nothing. Nothing about him being unhappy etc like we heard with Lias.

Its not like the Lias situation at all. Kravtsov didn't demand a trade and go home. He was loaned ( with Rangers blessing ) to go back to KHL. Unless he gets seriously injured, this should be a positive experience for him. He will have a chance to stay in competitive hockey shape, and perhaps come back to the U.S later in the season a more mature young man. WIN/WIN
