Really the only knock on Perfetti is he doesn’t skate well enough to be a center at the next level so he’d have to make significant strides there (pun intended) for that pick to make sense over Rossi imo.

I agree in part. He specifically went to a trainer in Montreal while he was injured. His stride got way better. Maybe it all just clicked, but it’s a noticeable improvement.

And, yes. I don’t want him dropping the gloves. Use the body all you want to create space and separate opponents from the puck. Just good grief keep the gloves on Mo

He can’t engage at all. Last season he was embarrassed by Muzzin. Wasn’t even a fight. Also not saying he didn’t get better but it’s more of the peak age thing than anything imo.

That Muzzin fight was awful. Slew foot and no suspension. I think he broke a rib. He’s definitely getting into prime time, to your point
