I know starting a guy like Cozens on the wing is the conventional line of thinking, and probably what they're going to do, but I really want to see if he is capable of playing center at this level sooner rather than later.

I agree with that top 9 setup at the moment.

One has to wonder why Dominik Simon's agent didn't use Girgensons as a comparable and only got 700k for his client, if he is indeed equal.

I think you'll see a lot of it in preseason, to see how he holds up.

Still like to see them sign either a Kahun or a Granlund to give them more flexibility and make that top 9 even more solid.

I think most agree here. It seems like an indefensible miss, and hopefully they learn something from it. It's not back breaking, but it was dumb.

Agreed. There is a trade to be had with a Dman, but you'd hope they'd upgrade the goaltending with that.

I guess that's probably our top 9 then. And I've seen much, much worse in the last 9 years here.

Some big question marks and wild cards in that top 9.

Hopefully Mitts is going to take his hockey career seriously. That's where vets like Staal and Hall come in. Teach these kids.

Simon took a step back in 2019, but 2018 Simon would be on par or better.
