Jeremy Laura: Looking forward to when hockey returns, start pushed to mid January - Jeremy Laura
I can only imagine how bad the hockey will be with no exhibition games. Especially for goalies. Lots of penalties. Teams with good special teams will shoot up the standings pretty quickly. Lots of pulled hamstrings. You better have a good taxi squad.
I'll still be happy to see Red Wings hockey again though. It seems like we haven't played in 5 years. I'll look forward to watching the World Juniors in the meantime. Go Canada Go! 👍 |

The WJs are so impressive. So much high end talent on those teams. I agree on your synopsis. When Tavares first got to Toronto the Maples Leaf pp was untouchable. It took teams a bit to get the scouting right. With a shortened season they could ride high into the playoffs. I think Colorado could do a lot of damage too. Old rivalry aside, that team looks better and better |

Thank you H2! Any venison stew/chili on the menu? Hoping you had a safe but fun trek in the beautiful Michigan woodlands! |

Just wait until Byram makes the jump to the NHL. AVS will be even scarier. I still don't like their goaltending though. |

Very solid points. Sakic has done a very good job on internal budget. I’m sure he’ll know when to pull the trigger between the pipes. John Gibson would be a really good get (my opinion). If Anaheim is full rebuild, Joe has some nice options to send over. if Andersen hits the open market, could be a good pickup. He’d have way more defensive support in COL |

Kuemper would be the obvious available choice for the Avs. Send them Grubaur and Timmens. Win-win!

Gibson!
They would have to send them Grubauer, Timmons and Donskoi ($.9M retained) and the ducks would be sitting abot a$1M over like before the trade.

MAF ($1.5M retained) and a 1st for Grubauer, Timmons
Grubauer can handle the net til Lehner comes back......but with the later start he might not have to.

I feel like he doesn’t get enough credit for how good he is. If we were closer to competing I’d love to get that guy between the pipes. Go nuts and reunite with with Andersen for a really nice 1-2 |

Gibson doesn't get the credit because only Ducks fans watch Anaheim games. Gibson has been a top tier goalie since he entered the league but he's played on mostly bad teams. He's literally carried them on his back. I'd like to see what he could do playing behind a very good team like Colorado. |

That’s it, for sure. He is a difference maker and should get a shot at the cup. Sakic built COL so well. He let good players walk to keep $ structure, and the team has benefitted from the vision. |
