Thanks, Bill. Do you see anything alarming thus far in the first three games that are cause for concern moving forward? I know it's been less than a week, but last night's game reminded me a lot of the Islanders series from the playoffs.

It’s funny that so many saw that game coming. 3 of the gambling postings I visit all had money on Buffalo, referencing us not playing well and winning and the Sabres the opposite and then being 0-2 needing a win.

I liked farabee with Patty last night.

I get keeping the fourth line together But if a spark is needed I move Scott up for a couple shifts.

Let’s see how they respond.

Bill did the Flyers even talk to Chara at all before he signed with Washington?

That was an embarrassing effort last night, if they don't come back with a better game tonight I'll be shocked! Missing Coots is a big deal for this team, it messes with the center depth and puts a lot of pressure on a very young Patrick, who missed all of last year, and Frost who's still trying to find his way in the league.

That was the flyers we know and love!

Did G play or was he having another off night?

Bill, was anything said about NAK s hit? Or chalked up to weird hockey play. They made it seem like he intentionally punched him at first.

Also anyone else think the tripping penalty was a bad call? Hart burdens the responsibility but is the team in front. Don’t think he was bad last night.

He has three assist in three games, he's plus two and when he's on the ice they're controlling the play more so than not, what are your expectations of a 33 year old player who was never quick to begin with but is even slower now?

What bothers me is in 3 games so far this season the Flyers have played 1 good period, the 3rd period of game 1. Last night you could see the only one ready to go from the opening puck drop was Carter Hart!

Well anyway I promised myself I was not going to overreact to an early bad start to the season, and another bad start to a home game, both of which are troubling, but I am going to give it time since there was no pre-season and a limited camp. However with only a 56 game season, they better get their act together quickly!

This. While he hasn’t scored, imo giroux looks quicker this year.
