Carol Schram: Canucks get rest & practice time as they prepare for 4-game set vs. Flames
Back on the West Coast after losing their last five road games, the Vancouver Canucks are hoping that a couple of off days and some home cooking will help set them up for success when they open a four-game series against the Calgary Flames at Rogers Arena on Thursday.

Nielsen Media Research has defined millennials as adults between the ages of 22 and 38 years old in 2019. CNN reports that studies often use 1981–1996 to define millennials
All the Canucks are either millennials or post millennials, need more gray beards to show them how it's done.
They should give MG the presidents title, as mentioned previously he had serious flaws that compliment JB who also has serious flaws. Best case, they become a power couple with JB handling day to day and drafting while MG handles ufa and contract negotiations.
Wise case, Benning quites which allows FA to get out of the contract and bring in a real GM to take us to the top.
If we lose more then 4 out of the next ten we're done for the season.
Hell, if we don't sweep Calgary we're probably done.
It'll be interesting to see how/if the Canucks bounce back with some rest and practice. The theory of the early season schedule will be put to the test against Calgary... but if they go 0-4 or 1-3, I can see axes starting to be swung at necks.
I do think the other teams in the division will regress as the back to backs pile up. Canucks only have three more for the rest of the season, while all other teams have 6 or more.
With that being said, if they don't decisively win the upcoming Calgary series, it will be a tough hill to climb. End of the day, they need to dominate Calgary and Edm from here on out.

Seriously though I can see a 2-2 split and both teams continue to circle the drain for a bit. Flames have 5 games in hand so yes the Nucks need to start winning now especially if they shorten the schedule.
