If the Leafs are to do anything you would expect them to do it this weekend ..

They play Ottawa this Sunday (14th)then off until the Friday where they play b2b (19&20th) than off again until the 25th.

No better time to strike a deal than in that stretch as it least effects games being missed to the quarantine period.

Either way, the addition of Grigorenko, Domi, and Koivu were apparently supposed to carry Columbus to the division title. Tampa was just smoke and mirrors. No chance kings are adding,they arent going to do anything but what they have been doing.they wont make the playoffs.they are playing well this yr,but not playoff good.they are happy to be competitive while acclimating all these draft picks we have in our farm to the nhl game see kempe,iafallo,Anderson and others,and that list will continue grow as time passes.we are waiting out carter,quick,doughty and kopitars contracts those guys deserve to play out their days as kings,while the kids come up.good core to learn from,still have proven cup winners in the room leading the way.
