For the right return, I wouldn't mind seeing Hertl or Meier go.

But trading Meier might be tough. Someone on another message board pointed out that his "reasonable" contract has a slight hitch - the final year of his contract is 10 million - so as an RFA, his qualifying amount will be 10 million. That's a bit steep.

Maybe if Karlsson hadn’t of been so greedy and demanded the ridiculous contract that he can’t live up to, then maybe the Sharks could afford a better supporting lineup.
