I always wondered what a team would do in a league if it was really structured like this. Would they really go undefeated or blow every team out? With TOI and roles, someone would end up with the short end.

not a good April Fools joke. You need to learn the art of subtlety. If you had gone with a 3 player protected list (1 F, 1D and 1G) it might have made me look to Sportsnet for confirmation

Seattle is allowed to take one player from each team and they already decided to go with McDavid. It would likely be someone like Gaudreau or Tkachuk fighting for that fourth line spot
