Arent the devils paying 50% of each salary? If so I love this deal for the Islanders. We Hopefully will never komarov play on this team again.

Greene and Zajac were longtime Devils and haven’t been in the playoffs with our team in a long time. They’re good soldiers getting toward the end. I wish them the best. Palms too even though he’s got plenty of years ahead and wasn’t here that long.

I don’t hate the Islanders anything like the Rangers and you guys have suffered a long time. So I wish you luck. Plus I love Lou Lams. I’ve met him. Great guy. Not saying he’s perfect (none of us are) but I’m eternally grateful for the three cups he brought us.

Lou got a steal of a deal here. So blown away, this is our year. I'm on cloud nine. What great, solid vets to bring in.

This a great trade for the Islanders. We needed a first rounder and the rest is likely not going to amount to much. But we needed to make a trade. Lou was a bit generous when he traded for Greene last year. This time he was a little stingier. You have to give to get and it’s reasonable. It’s helpful for both GMs to work together.

I think Carolina wins the East, but the Islanders are right behind them. They got much better after this trade.

I have friends who are Rangers fans too. Better friends honestly, but screw them. I’m not that good a person. Hope they never win anything after what they did to Red Dutton.

Terrible trade for NJ. If we retained Palmieri salary he was worth a first. Isles get Zajac (with salary retained) for a 4th and two throw aways.

Living on LI I already am getting crap from my Islander fan friends. Regardless, I hope they have a deep run with Palmieri, Zajac, Greene and Schneider.

All four players are great professionals that bring much more than their skill.

For me, it would be perfect if Schneider falls into a game and somehow leads them to a cup (I know it will never happen).

Good for the Isles, they get 2 good and cup hungry players. Lou did not overpay and NJ got the 1st they wanted. I sense another move for Lou and a deep run for the isles!
