I don't think even Barstool Bob thought the Ducks were good enough to compete against Colorado, Vegas, or the Blues. But he thought they might be able to compete for the fourth spot. Of course he was dead wrong so I really hope he's busy after the expansion draft. Otherwise, I agree with you.
On a different note, is anyone concerned with Gibson's performance this year? I was at the last Vegas game and I didn't think Pietrangelo's or Roy's goals were that impressive. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I remember when he was the only reason the Ducks had a chance to win games. That's not the case anymore.

Gibby has been weaker last couple yrs... still has ability to rise up and steal game now and then. But notable that overall a drop... I’m sure more than a little of that has to do with seeing a ton rubber every night.

I’d like to see him traded at the draft and roll with Stolli / ?? & Dostal next yr with both he and RM gone along with more than a few others.

Good plan, but I have a feeling the Kraken will take Stolarz at the entry draft.
