Hains: Time Heals All Wounds
Last night, after the Canadiens’ win over the Leafs, TVA sports had another treat for Habs’ fans, an interview with Patrick Roy which looked back on the events of December 1995.

can't remember where but i remember reading a theory that Roy bumped into Mike Vernon outside the rink the morning of the game and Vernon was telling him how much more enjoyable it was to play in Detroit than it was in a Canadian hotbed, and that Roy tanked the game and orchestrated the whole thing.

i might have dreamt this. - DoubleDown
Journal de Montréal and at a small breakfast restaurant. They talked about the pressure of playing in MTL

Loved the commercial, even en Anglais.
That interview does really make it look like Sir Patrick is trying to show a new, more mature side... Maybe while rebuilding some previously burnt bridges. Maybe trying to get a job... Hmmmm....

Oh, and in regards to last night's game, hopefully this will end any worries about Caufield not being able to play defensively.
That takeaway in overtime was key, and even after, he made to smart play in passing the puck back for the sure goal, instead of taking the shot himself. It was a selfless play as he recognized Campbell was cheating towards talking the shot from him.
Now if they can show Romanov the same amount of faith they showed Gus, we can get the Optobus into 2nd (round) gear!

imagine...if by a miracle the Habs win game 6.....
now that would be interesting to see a very nervous fanbase - Symba007
I'm pretty sure Leaf fans are poopting their pants right now, given their lack of success getting past the 1st round. Pushing to a game 7 would likely send them into despair. If you have any friends that are Leaf fans, you may want to check up on them for the next few days, not to taunt but make sure they are doing OK.

Not pooping pants, but not comfortable. One great performance or one big (frank) up can make things really uncomfortable, but c'est la vie.
The meltdown in the other thread will be glorious. - Scabeh
It’s already glorious isn’t it? They’re all criticizing Matthews and Marner for not contributing enough even though the lead 3-2. If im them im happy my team is doing that without Tavares and with mainly secondary offence. Almost said so but then I thought they’d tell me to get lost, so I did just that lol

Didn't know we were all fat (frank) hot takers like O'Dog. Marner on the PP has been the only issues with his game thus far.
