McGuire provides nothing..... absolutely nothing... his performance is equal to that of the leagues policies on safety of its players..... I agree as far as the league is treading water in terms of a lawsuit or worse a death on the ice... and seemingly the league has no concerns about either, which is a shame because many casual sports fans see replays of the hits and laugh hockey off as irrelevant....

Mcguire is a joke because he talks to everyone else like he knows better than them. He talks down to his viewership. It's the biggest joke around.

Tha Habs are as guilty of infractions. Their fans are just more susceptible to the blinders.
Perfect example. Majority of the hockey world thinks Scheifele should have got 2 games (regular season games at that), Habs fans think he should have got at least a season and criminal charges.
Eff this "guest blogger" and his Tanner-esque views on broadcasting and his homer-esque views on officiating. The refs have been absolute poop this offseason, but don't make it out like they have only been in one direction vs the Habs. Look at how bad McDavid got assaulted and 0 calls his way.
I dont see the Oilers or their fans saying it's the only reason they didn't win.
