Carol Schram: The Canucks officially name Todd Harvey their director of amateur scouting After four years on the Canucks' scouting staff, Todd Harvey has officially been named Vancouver's new director of amateur scouting. Top prospects will be speaking to the media this week, with the draft now less than three weeks away.

Ty Carol

McTavish for me size & uses it.
Johnson is intriguing
Lucious could live with if they’re gone.
Svechkov is a dark horse.

As much as I like Wallstedt to be gone to make players drop to us I don’t see it. Prefer a C since don’t see RHD available at 9th. As more chatter happens as the draft nears & what happens leading up to it & the e-draft should be fun.

Keep 9 unless the right deal & fit.
Expecting preemptive moves.

Read the Canes blog & other sites projecting their 7-3-1.

Foegele pops out. Maybe only a 3rd for him.

I like the idea of trying to get him for bottom 6 LW need. RFA & idk his ask. Again hope for cap moves will be a key for JB.

wouldn’t say he’s ahead of the curve but he’s keeping pace after a rough start. Agree about being misunderstood

I’d do it

How does it effect the e-draft outlook for the Canucks then?

Thanks Carol, if memory serves correct Harvey was a small guy with a lot of heart. I remember him being pretty scrappy against the Canucks when he was with the Stars. Glad he’s making a name for himself within the organization.

These draft rankings are very lose and varied. Watch Sabers pass on Powers to start the shuffle.
