I’ll be honest. I don’t know that it would come together, but I would really like to see Tatar come back to Detroit. He’s not being used (which is a shame). He brought a lot of excitement to the organization and it would be great to see him in the lineup

I was thinking last night, I wonder how this series might have been different if Tats was 100% and add the playmaking ability of 100% Drouin. I realize injuries are part of the game, but Drouin dishing to Caufield would be pretty exciting to watch.

The coach was asked about Tats, and it sounds like he could go. It sounds like him being out is “coach’s choice”.

For Drouin, that young man has a lot going on. Some of it is upstairs. He’s had such a bumpy ride getting into the league and just seems to lose his way.

It’s hard not to wonder “what if”, for sure. For some reason, Tatar (in Vegas and now in MTL) just doesn’t have the full confidence of the coaches in these critical games. It stinks, because I like him being out there. I’d love to see that kid (not a kid anymore but I’m still older) lift a cup somewhere.

The game was AWESOME. For 3 full games, TB literally ruled the roost. I was thinking a sweep, being honest. MTL just didn't seem to have anything for TB at all. But MTL came out in Game 4 with a fire and physicality that had been sorely missing, and made it a game.....probably not a series, mind you, but definitely a game.

I liked Tats. I like Nyquist as well, and thought Nosek may have had some potential if he'd been used better, put more work in training. I'd love to see Tats back, and Merrill. If The Captain could pull it off, I'd smile. Tts brings some flair, when he's on full blast. When he's not, he's a turn-over machine. Would be a good fill in, but I think we're pretty well set on wingers....need some C depth.....

I can’t imagine being in Montreal last night. Those fans can shake a building! Agreed on Tats. If a deal was done, probably a deadline flip. Really liked Merrill last year too. Definitely need a center. Fabbri started off well with Ryan and Zadina. That line was good but completely derailed by covid and injury

Yep. KP is doing the rounds. It’s not a fun loss. It just didn’t work out. I was actually told I wasn’t “being helpful” by bringing up his potential departure a couple months back. I wonder if it’s more helpful just to watch it happen….
