The actual list should be up tonight. I’ll do my best to get it quickly. Guessing Yzerman gets tougher and tougher! |

Hey, J. Been spending time on the road for work, so not been readily able to comment.
If I’m forced to accept the party-line of drafting a C, and the big names are gone, MacTavish seems like a fit. Good size, great visibility, looks like a really good pass - tape to tape is natural for him. That would fit well going forward. Still wondering about how Veleno will work out. I still like Wallstedt, and I know everyone's gonna get on me for it. I just think that he’s got the best shot of being an NHLer….Cossa seems to be pretty sharp as well.
Leddy. Not a fan of what was given up. Panik + a 3d? Yes, please. Giving up a 2d seems too much. Even if he’s flipped at the TDL, we lose the 2d this year, and I really fell like we need all the picks we can get this year because of the paucity of scouting. |

You’re in good company regarding that second. There are several who feel that was overpay. I’m kind of numb to the whole thing. At this point I’m fine. 2 first, 2 seconds in a wonky draft. It will depend on who NYI gets, honestly |

Weirdly, Detroit has so few people with contracts right now. Only 10 players (5 forwards, 4 d and 1G). Seattle can make offers to RFAs and UFAs. Nielsen and Dekeyser have NMC. I’d do my best to get those waived. Just such a strange situation |

Only NMC have to be protected or players waive them to be exposed. As far as i know NTCs don't have to be protected so they can be exposed.
Wings obviously will expose Nielsen and likely could do it with DeKeyser so they can protect Hronek, Leddy and Stetcher. In that case i think Seattle will take one of Svetch, Cholowski, Lindstrom with an outside chance of Namestnikov. I doubt they want DeKeyser at his salary and injury history. |

Ok, i misunderstood. Thanks for that.
Most popular thought has been Svech. Still waiting for protection list to be published. Here’s a tracker for all released so far:

Yeah, I think it’ll be Svech. Best move they could make, really. Kid needs a change.
The NTCs can be exposed, but who would take a chance on Danny Deke or Frans. If Frans isn’t taken, methinks he’s a buy-out. |

Are this years bonuses late? Usually paid July 1. - Jeremy Laura I believe others were paid in July. Maybe September is Price's birthday month?
